The Chinese Elm Bonsai tree is a very hardy tree. It will keep it’s green foliage throughout the year if kept indoors year round. In the fall this tree will grow small fruits which will mature to good size. This a great tree for a beginner grower as it is easy to care for, does not need much pruning and is hard to kill. As long as your Chinese Elm gets plenty of sun and water it will last a long long time. Make sure to keep the Elm in a warm part of your house as it does not like cold weather and wind. If you plan on repotting your tree the best time of year is the early Springtime. You can buy a Chinese Elm right online at The Bonsai Boy here.
