There are so many styles of bonsai to choose from and you may be having a hard time deciding what style of bonsai tree is right for you. There are tree’s that have flowers and don’t have flowers, as well as have shiny leaves, and less shiny leaves. With so many styles, it may be a difficult decision, but remember that you can always have more than one! Start out with a simple tree then move on to a tree that needs more care if you are looking something a little more caring. A great tree that has flowers that smell great is a Bonsai Azalea Satsuki, this tree flowers in mid summer and is one of the most popular tree’s out there today. They are very pretty to have on your counter and they are easy to maintain. This tree is very hardy.

Flowering White Jasmine (trachelospermum jasminoides) The Jasmine is a bushy vine which we have trained into tree form. It has shiny dark leaves and fragrant white flowers. The waxy snow white flowers are about 1″ across, borne in clusters of 3-12 and intensely fragrant. They fade to pink as they age. The White Jasmine blooms throughout the summer and almost continuously in warm climates. Great indoor bonsai.
