Bonsai Mame

Bonsai Plant — admin on June 4, 2008 at 8:26 am

If you are searching for a bonsai mame tree online, you may have hard time as this type of tree is not so easy to find. A mame is a very small version of the already small bonsai tree family and it is not easy to take care of. The mame needs a lot of attention and you MUST know what you are doing when you are caring for one. They need special small pots, special soils, tools and more. Pruning a mame is needed in order to keep it as small as possible. These types of tree’s are very cute and small, however will need a lot of your attention. Make sure that you have the time and energy to devote to a mame tree before you buy one and if you succeed you will have a very nice, cute tree.

Owning and taking care of a bonsai plant is a very fun and rewarding experience. A bonsai plant can be formed into so many shapes and sizes unlike other household plants. You can train your bonsai plant to do things that you want it to do and it will last for hundreds of years if taken care of properly. I have owned a bonsai plant for more than 2 years now and I love it. It is not very big, I like to keep it small and I like to watch it grow just a little bit. Buying a bonsai plant can be a hard decision because there are so many different bonsai plant styles to choose from. Take a look at the Bonsai Boy website and read about all the different styles of bonsai plants and see which one you like the best.

Juniper Bonsai Tree - Medium
Juniper Procumbens “nana”

This dwarf Juniper from Japan is the most popular evergreen in the U.S. When we think of a traditional bonsai and what it should look like, we think of a “Juniper Procumbens Nana.” It is very hardy, long-lived, and tolerates many adverse conditions. This is an excellent tree for the beginner.
