Kinds of Bonsai Plants
There are so many different kinds of bonsai plants that I cannot list all of them in this post, however I will touch upon the most popular ones.
Ficus Bonsai: Ideally suited for indoor planting and growing. The ficus has small shiny leaves and grows slowly.
Juniper Bonsai: There are several styles of Juniper. The two main leaf types are: needle-like juvenile foliage and scale-like adult foliage. Junipers like full sun and to be pruned regularly.
Baby Jade Bonsai: The Jade has rounded thick leaves and the trunk and branches are thicker to hold water. Great as an indoor plant.
Japanese Boxwood Bonsai: This is the smallest of the boxwood species. Light green leaves and loves to grow many branches. Great for indoors and easy to prune and care for.
