When thinking about buying a bonsai tree make sure to understand that not all bonsai trees are indoor plants, such as the juniper bonsai tree. A juniper bonsai tree is an outdoor bonsai tree and should not be kept indoors. If a juniper bonsai tree is kept indoors it will die. A juniper bonsai tree needs to have an annual period of dormancy in the wintertime. Unlike other bonsai tree’s the juniper bonsai tree can live great in cooler weather. Make sure not to not over water your juniper bonsai as it is unhealthy, misting is OK.
